With „Vibrant Deviation,“ singer-songwriter Michael Baumann presents his second studio album. Expansive sound design, strong grooves, interweaved rhythms and melodies span over a good 70 minutes. The songs are catchy and very „palatable,“ even though they don’t always follow conventional forms. Great emphasis was placed on the interplay between bass and vocal melodies. The lyrics were also crafted with great care. The recordings took place with mobile equipment in various locations, allowing the production to benefit from the advantages of different rooms and spaces. „Vibrant Deviation“ invites listeners to dive deep.
